Atlas Copco has launched its Reman Program under the RePower Centre within its Power Technique Customer Centre, further expanding its lifecycle solutions portfolio in India.
The initiative provides an OEM-certified remanufacturing solution aimed at restoring compressors to original factory specifications, enabling customers to enhance equipment performance, extend operational lifespan and reduce total cost of ownership through a sustainable refurbishment approach.
According to the company, the programme offers an efficient and cost-effective alternative to complete equipment replacement by restoring performance levels while aligning with evolving industrial requirements and sustainability goals.
Under the remanufacturing process, compressors are systematically disassembled, inspected and rebuilt using genuine OEM-certified components within a factory-controlled environment. Critical systems, including air ends, drive interfaces, cooling assemblies and control modules, are recalibrated to original specifications and subjected to comprehensive testing for airflow, pressure, safety and operational performance.
The programme is designed to improve equipment uptime, operational reliability and asset life cycles while lowering maintenance costs and promoting sustainable industrial practices through the optimised reuse of existing machinery.
The Reman Program is expected to cater to industries such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, textiles, cement, steel, infrastructure and general manufacturing, where operational continuity and equipment reliability remain essential.
